Ben's (the farmer) dog, Tana, lounging on the bag of seed!! What a life!! She is very possessive of Ben...if one of our dogs gets to close to him, she starts growling!!
Ben is planting hay this year on our 40 acres -- hoping for a better crop than the weedy wheat the past two years!
That's what farming is, isn't it? Mostly HOPE...hope it rains, hope we have enough irrigation water, hope the weeds aren't too bad, hope....SOMEONE wants to buy hay??!!
